Landes Mertz began in 2003 when Craig Landes and John Mertz, former colleagues, shared a vision. Together they designed a CPA firm aimed at providing quality tax and accounting services to the small business clientele who were getting lost in larger firms.

This partnership allowed Craig to refocus his practice and resume a more nimble hands-on approach with his clients, while retaining access to great resources in the seasoned professionals working with John at Preszler Larner Mertz & Company in Aberdeen.

Landes Mertz & Co. is growing. The addition of Nancy Hansen in 2006 bolstered our position as a leading firm in the area for both income tax and estate tax planning expertise.
