John M. Mertz

John M. Mertz, CPA is a 1970 graduate of the University of Washington. John’s practice emphasis is in management consulting, and tax, estate and retirement planning for both businesses and business owners. John divides his time between his office in Aberdeen with Preszler Larner Mertz & Company, and our office here.

He has been involved in many professional organizations and community activities, including serving as a board member and officer of various organizations including the Grays Harbor Economic Development Council, the Grays Harbor Chamber, United Way, Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Aberdeen Lions Club, The Bank of the Pacific, Aberdeen Elks Club and Grays Harbor Country Club.

He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
